The 7th annual Environmental Health & Justice Summit will be on October 18th from 9-4 at the College Avenue Student Center. This event will feature information from presenters about the growing concerns regarding pollutants related to plastic in the environment globally and human health. The speakers, which include community members, decision-makers, environmental health advocates, regulators, and scientists, will provide insights that answer questions that audience members might have about exposure to plastic-related pollution. Additionally, the impacts that this pollution has on health, especially on vulnerable populations, will be discussed. By participating in the summit, attendees will be able engage in discussions, learn from experts, network with others, and find out how to take action to reduce plastic pollution.
