New Jersey is mostly lifting its indoor mask mandate on Friday, a triumphant milestone in the 15-month battle against the coronavirus pandemic, but not everyone is celebrating. That includes some parents of young children not yet eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and adults who, for a variety of reasons, have opted not to get vaccinated. And, yes, it includes some who are vaccinated but, despite the updated federal health guidelines, remain committed to wearing masks in indoor places and believe that New Jersey is moving too quickly in loosening restrictions.
