Could a common steroid be a COVID-19 breakthrough?

A new study out of Oxford University suggests COVID-19 patients could be saved with the help of dexamethasone, an inexpensive and widely used steroid. If the findings bear out, it would be the first drug known to reduce deaths of severely ill COVID-19 patients.
