Rutgers scientists and Microsoft volunteers have created a new free mobile app that provides lifesaving tips for safe sleeping practices during an infant’s first year of life when the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is at its highest.
The Baby be Well app, developed by scientists at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in conjunction with the tech giant Microsoft Corp. as part of the technology corporation’s AI for Good Initiative and Tata Consultancy Services, provides users with proven guidance of safe sleep practices to reduce the risk of SIDS. The app is available for Android devices now with the iOS version expected shortly. To learn more.
