Preparing the Next Generation of Clinical Research Professionals
For several years, the NJ ACTS Workforce Development Core offered a mentored internship experience that provided students with meaningful opportunities to contribute to clinical and translational science while developing professional skills in research, leadership, and scientific communication.
Through faculty mentorship and project-based learning, interns collaborated on initiatives that advanced education, workforce development, informatics, regulatory science, and clinical research across the NJ ACTS consortium.
Although the internship program has concluded, NJ ACTS remains committed to developing the clinical research workforce through innovative education, digital credentials, professional development programs, fellowships, and workforce training opportunities.

Program Impact
During its duration, the NJ ACTS Workforce Development Internship Program provided students with opportunities to:
