Dr. Yingci Liu is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She studied biomedical informatics at the University of Pittsburgh and has an active interest in developing algorithms to analyze medical images, genetic data, and other electrical health records. Currently, she is working on building multi-modal machine learning models to integrate heterogeneous data to predict progression in head and neck cancer. In addition to research, she participates in Rutgers’ oral pathology biopsy service and serves as a clinical educator teaching maxillofacial diseases to dental students and residents.
