Emily B. Rosenfeld, DO, FACOG, is an instructor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Rosenfeld completed her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Rutgers, where she found that tight blood pressure control in the postpartum period decreased Emergency Department visits for postpartum hypertensive disorders by 68%. Before joining Rutgers, Dr. Rosenfeld completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. Dr. Rosenfeld is an NIH-funded physician-scientist with a strong focus on improving pregnancy outcomes. Her research has centered on enhancing antepartum and postpartum blood pressure control using remote patient monitoring in those with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. She has shared her findings through numerous regional and national research presentations. As the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Perinatal Research Consortium Principal Investigator, she leads several NIH and industry-sponsored clinical trials.
