Dr. Chintan Dave completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 2019; earned his PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology from University of Florida in 2017 and PharmD from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2012. Dr. Dave is a pharmacoepidemiologist and pharmacist by training and assistant professor at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, primarily working within the Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Therapeutic Sciences (PETS).
Dr. Dave’s KL2 focuses on the safety and effectiveness of antidiabetic medications in older adults with diabetes. The goal of his research is to leverage large observational databases and apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methods for confounding adjustment, within the areas of cardiometabolic and geriatric pharmacoepidemiology. Projects he has led have been published in leading journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine and JAMA: Internal Medicine.
