SUMMARY:Community Day: Health Fair and Giveaway Day
DESCRIPTION:Rutgers Global Health Institute is collaborating with partner organizations to hold a Community Day event on Saturday\, June 11\, 2022\, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in New Brunswick\, New Jersey. \nThe event will include a health fair and distribution of free clothing and household items. The health fair will offer free access to health education and resources\, health screenings (such as blood pressure\, blood glucose\, and BMI)\, and a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for all ages and eligible doses. \nSacred Heart Church\, 56 Throop Ave.\, New Brunswick\, NJ\nFree and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome; no advance registration is required. The event will take place in the church parking lot. For more information\, call 732-545-1681\, ext. 105. \nPartner organizations involved with the event include Holy Family Parish\, New Brunswick Tomorrow\, North American Disease Intervention\, New Jersey Department of Health\, and Rutgers Global Health Institute. The event is a component of the institute’s Equitable Recovery COVID-19 response program.
